Travel has changed my life and I'm driven by the belief that it has the power to shape our perspectives and enrich our lives. I particularly love the type of travel that allows me to experience a location as if I were a local.

After my first international solo trip to Africa in 2007 I fell in love with exploring new places and can't imagine stopping. I particularly enjoy adventure travel and have even built a career out of it!

With a combination of my professional training, tourism industry work, and my personal outdoor endeavors, creating Just a Traveler seemed like the perfect way to connect with others like me.

My career in tourism is more than a profession; it's a love letter to the world. I have had the opportunity to guide adventurers through the untamed landscapes of Alaska, the rainforests of Hawaii, and the rugged coastlines of New England.

I've had the time of my life sharing fun experiences with others. Every tour is an opportunity to create connections between people and nature. My professional training has increased my knowledge of outdoor gear and its uses. I've been able to apply these skills to elevate my planned adventures and to stay safer in the great outdoors.

During my years of guiding I specialized in high ropes courses and ziplines. If it involves hanging around in tree canopies, I'm there! This activity is also a big hobby of mine. You can often find me at the rock climbing gym or venturing outside for some abseiling or sport climbing.

With already established experience in the travel industry, becoming a travel advisor was a no-brainer. With my hands-on experiends exploring diverse destinations, understanding the intricacies of travel logistics and fostering meaningful connections, I bring a wealth of knowledge to the table.

I've encountered the challenges that travel can present which have been opportunities for me to continually learn. My role as a travel advisor goes beyond creating itineraries; it's about understanding all the elements that make a phenomenal trip.

The ever-evolving landscape of the travel industry demands adaptability and continuous learning. My commitment to travel isn't just about my enjoyment of it, it comes from the realization that the entire experience is life-changing; good or bad. I don't know of anything else with the ability to make an impact on one's life the way travel does.
