Our Event Types

This type of JAT meetup is great for those who are new to the group. There's plenty of time to get to know others who attend and enjoy some great food + drinks. Get to know fellow travelers and we can learn about all the cool places you've traveled!

GTKY (get to know ya!)

Group Events

These events will include some participation from you. We might have a themed game night or a karaoke party, or participate at a local event. These events are built for you to maybe come out of your shell a little bit. After all, that's how you really get to know eachother.

JAT Trips

The main event! These will be planned trips to some really exciting places. You are free to join for the whole trip, or meetup with us for a single event if you're in town. These are the experiences we truly live for. We will explore, relax, and hopefully make some solid memories together

Give Back Activities

Giving back is important to use. These events will include events where you can volunteer to help others, be a part of raising funds for a good cause, or maybe even walking a dog or giving love to pets in the local shelter. Volunteering is not mandatory but it is encouraged!

Clinics and Workshops

Learning is fun! We will source local instructors to teach us cool stuff. This could include an outdoor climbing clinic where you learn to belay, a lesson on how to choose the best sleeping pad for your camp trip, or even travel fairs. Don't worry, our approach to learning is definitely hands-on and no studying will be needed!
