We are a group of adventure enthusiasts who share a common passion for travel and exploring new places. Just a Traveler is a US-based group that aims to bring together people of all travel-experience levels.
Our main focus is not on the trips, but instead on building a strong community. We design everything around that goal. Join us for meetups from grabbing a casual coffee, to venturing locally, to planned outdoor global adventures.

The Trips
Along with local meetups, Just a Traveler will have opportunities for adventuring elsewhere. These trips will include planned itineraries where you could find yourself in the temperate coastal rainforests of Alaska, the old-growth swamps of Hawaii, or even the remote fjords of Iceland and beyond!
Our trip itineraries are designed with a thorough knowledge of the locations because, most likely, someone here has already been there. Our trips aim to be full of options for you to adventure to your heart's content while also being cost-effective.
We aim to build an environment where we can learn from one another. These trips are your chance to learn new things, like how to pitch a tent for the first time, start a fire, kayak, climb rock walls, or understand your outdoor gear better.
